1. Pupils discuss that yeast is a fungi, an example of microorganism.

2. Discuss how to make dough.

3. Observation the dough after 20 minutes.

Conclusion that yeast is an example of microorganism.

This activity is part from several activities in PEKA year 5. Pupils seem shock and surprised when see the dough that mixed with yeast expand until overflow the saucer. After discussions ,pupils understand that this yeast is either from life microorganism. Each living thing will be growing ,so that the dough mixed with yeast would be expanding.
